The SlimLite® 4” LED is built for drivers who want KC performance in a smaller, no-frills package. Compact yet capable, it delivers focused lighting performance and rugged reliability for mounting locations like front bumpers and A-pillars. With its sealed, built-in Spot Beam and optional snap-on shields for beam customization, the SlimLite® 4 strikes the perfect balance of performance, simplicity, and KC heritage.
As part of the SlimLite family, the SL4 pod lights share the same classic round styling and accessory system as their larger SL6 and SL8 siblings to create a cohesive look across your entire build.

The SlimLite® 4 gives you the KC performance and round-light style you want in a smaller footprint. Built for tight mounting locations, it adds usable light without overpowering your build or taking up valuable space.
COMPACT CAPABILITY
A-pillars, compact bumpers, behind-the-grille mounts, and custom tabs all have one thing in common: space matters. The SL4 gives you a clean, capable lighting option when a larger SlimLite is too much to package cleanly.
HIGH AND LOW MODE LIGHTING
With dual-mode functionality, the SL4 allows you to switch between 100% power for maximum off-road visibility and 30% dimmed mode for group rides or on-road driving. Pair it with the included SAE driving shields for street-legal performance.

Which SlimLite® Is Right for You?
The SlimLite® family gives you three sizes with the same classic KC look. Choose SL4 when space is tight or you want a smaller auxiliary light. Step up to SL6 for the best all-around setup, or SL8 when you want the largest SlimLite® option with the most output.

SlimLite® 4" Frequently Asked Questions
What are the beam patterns available for the SlimLite® 4"? Why do I only see it available in Spot Beam?
Every SlimLite® 4" light comes as Spot Beam pattern. However, you can change the beam pattern of the light with shields that simply snap onto the face of the light. These shields are available in SAE Driving and Spread beam patterns.
What is the difference between the Driving Amber shield vs the SAE Driving shields?
In terms of actual beam pattern, they are the same. The horizontal and vertical throws of the shield are identical. However, because the Amber color isn't compliant with SAE standards, it is intended to only be used off-road despite having the same beam pattern as the SAE Driving beam shields.
When can I use the SlimLite® 4" lights on paved streets and roadways?
Our SAE Driving beam shields are compliant with SAE standards. In order to be road-worthy in most states (local regulations apply), these shields must be used on SlimLite® 4" lights that are mounted in line with, or below, the vehicle's headlights. In addition, it's best to use them as you would your high beams. Depending on your state, lights mounted above your headlights may still require the included Cover when traveling on public roadways.
Can I mount the SlimLite® 4" lights upside down?
Sure! You can mount and orient the light right-side up or upside down due to its fully symmetric beam pattern.
What do the Stone Guards do?
The Stone Guards add extra protection and styling to your SlimLite without having to worry about removing them when you turn the lights on.
What exactly is MoistureBlock®?
MoistureBlock® is a patented technology created by DSM&T that prevents moisture from entering the light. We worked with them to incorporate this into the panel mount connector on the back of the light to stop water, oil, and other fluids from migrating in either direction, preventing damage to involved internal circuits.
How does the wiring harness connect to the SlimLite® 4" lights?
Rather than a traditional pigtail coming out of the back of the light, we opted for a direct plug-in, panel-mount connector on the back of the SlimLite. This creates a simplified and neater wiring job.
Do the SlimLite® 4" lights include blackout covers?
Yep!
Can I use light locks with the SlimLites?
Yes, light locks are compatible with the SlimLite® 4" lights. Use SKU 7222 aka the M8-1.25 Light Lock Security Nut Set. But remember, don't lose the included key! Otherwise you'll have a fun evening with an angle grinder if you ever need to remove the lights.
MOUNTING AND SETUP
Before you order, make sure your mounting location, brackets, and wiring plan match how you want to use your SlimLite® 4" lights. SL4 is universal, but the cleanest install depends on your vehicle and setup.
Universal Light, Vehicle-Specific Mounting
SL4 lights are designed as universal pod lights and can be used across a wide range of Jeeps, Broncos, trucks, and more. Vehicle-specific mounts may be required depending on where you plan to install them.
