Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hard working individual to join our team in the warehouse! This individual will be supporting the warehouse manager with the day to day responsibilities including receiving and sorting product, arranging stock in the warehouse as well as maintenance around the building and of the vehicles. This individual will also be supporting our Returns team whom works remotely by executing RMA processes to ensure the integrity of KC’s promise to support our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year experience working in a warehouse/shop environment
  • Clean DMV Record with valid Driver's License
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience
  • Dependable, responsible and hard-working
  • Self-starter with high energy
  • Able to use basic hand tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory

Duties:

  • Light cleaning and maintenance of building
  • Prep and assembly of various products (lighting, metal related)
  • Equipment and vehicle maintenance
  • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Operates forklift as needed
  • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports
  • Performs other related duties as directed
  • Assists the manager with the following:
    • Managing warehouse inventory and maintaining databases
    • Coordinating and scheduling the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products
    • Implementing daily production and shipping plan
    • Arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse
    • Managing daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments
    • Confirming availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items
  • RMA Duties:
    • Receive packages that customers return to the Williams office
    • Test items that have been sent back to the warehouse to confirm or deny claims
    • Update Zendesk with the appropriate information on pre-established macros
    • Facilitate the repair between the LA and AZ Repair team
    • Repack, restock, and ship items if necessary

Overview:

We are looking for someone who is experienced in this field to support our Purchasing Department. The Purchasing Department at KC is in charge of demand planning and forecasting, sourcing, purchasing and inventory planning. The Purchasing Specialist will be 100% focused on inventory control, pro-active procurement of components based on world-wide product demand and supply shortage, and will develop an expert knowledge in KC products with the focus on providing solutions to support the KC product lines. From sourcing and issuing purchase orders to forecasting and inventory management, the purchasing specialist will support the strategic goal first; to have supply meet demand. The purchasing specialist will take company strategic goals and business objectives along with trends and market analysis to develop well thought out and timed tactical buys.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Production, Sales & Marketing and Product Development to determine inventory needs
  • Forecasting inventory for new product launches and existing products
  • Collaborates and coordinates with overseas and US vendors
  • Assesses current material availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables. (containers, shipping rates, product availability, trends)
  • Prepares and presents market conditions and merchandise cost reports
  • Prepares purchasing contracts
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Drafts, explains, and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management
  • Maintain close and positive vendor relationships
  • Resolves grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
  • Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems
  • Acts as the company's representative in negotiations with suppliers
  • Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus materials
  • Develop knowledge of all KC products
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • At least three years of experience in a related field required
  • Experience in the automotive industry as a plus
  • Advanced experience with Excel or Google Sheets (VLookup or Index Match)
  • Experience in the automotive industry as a plus
  • Bonus Qualifications:
  • Familiar with Sage/Inventory advisor or equivalent ERP and Forecasting software
  • Familiar with Google Workspace
  • Familiar with ASANA or Trello
