What is the KC Certified Outlet?

The KC Certified Outlet is your chance to grab fully functional KC gear at lower prices. Items may be blemished, open-box, or from previous generations, but every product is trail-ready and certified by our team. Outlet inventory is available only on kchilites.com; our Flagstaff retail store does not carry these items.

Are the products new or used?

Every item in the outlet is 100% functional and never used in the field. They may have cosmetic blemishes, signs of handling, or dusty or dirty boxes, but they've been inspected and certified by our team before hitting the outlet. There's a good chance you may not even be able to find the blemish!

What do the product condition labels mean?

• Factory Second (FS): Minor cosmetic flaws, open-box returns, or overstock units. All tested and guaranteed to perform.
• Legacy: Discontinued or previous-generation products. May include old packaging, instructions, or branding, but still premium KC gear.

Do these items still come with a warranty?

In the rare instance that an item arrives defective or non-functional, we've got your back. You'll receive credit for the original purchase value with proof of purchase. We strongly encourage you to register your product so we can better assist you if needed.

Can I return or exchange outlet items?

All KC Certified Outlet items are final sale. No returns or exchanges will be accepted unless the item is defective. If you believe you received a defective product, contact our support team with photos and your order number.

Will these products perform like regular KC products?

Yes. While they may not look brand new, every item is certified to meet the same performance standards as our full-priced gear. That means trail-ready output, legendary durability, and KC quality.

How often does inventory get updated?

Outlet inventory changes based on availability. Some items may be one-offs, while others may come and go in waves. If you see something you like, don't wait! It might not be there tomorrow.

Can I buy outlet items at KC events or through dealers?

No. Outlet products are only available online and at the KC Flagstaff showroom. They are not sold through our dealers or at events.

How do I know if an item is a final sale?

Every product page in the KC Certified Outlet clearly states “FINAL SALE - No Returns” and includes a condition label so there are no surprises at checkout.
