Patented Gravity® Reflective Diode Technology
Each Gravity® LED G34 light features patented Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology. This unique industry leading technology and reflector design assures that actual emitted light output from each LED is being maximized in creating powerful, usable light for everyday for on or off road use. Unlike traditional forward facing reflector designs commonly found in LED lights today, KC GRD technology strategically positions LEDs inside the reflector so that the all light output is being carefully directed and aimed to deliver usable light. Various Beam Patterns for All Lighting Needs
SAE/ECE Driving Beam: Provides a wide evenly distributed rectangular beam shape to greatly improve lighting distance directly in front of your vehicle while creating ample visibility along the side of roadways with a wider beam angle than standard driving lights and OEM headlights. This beam pattern is also street legal compliant, making them great for everyday use on or off the road. Driving Beam lights are best used on front bumpers, a-pillars and overhead sections of your vehicle for improved lighting directly in front of your vehicle.
SAE/ECE Fog Beam: Provides a low, wide angle light pattern that increases short-range and low ground visibility. This beam pattern is ideal when used on lower sections of your vehicle, especially when faced with adverse driving conditions like fog, snow, rain and dust. This beam pattern is also street legal compliant, making them great for everyday use on or off the road.
Wide-40 Beam: Provides a extremely wide beam pattern, delivering a wider area of coverage to improve side-side visibility and areas closer to your vehicle. Although not street legal, these are best used on a-Pillars, as well outer sections of front bumpers and overhead applications to provide ample peripheral visibility when used on conjunction with Driving, Spot or Fog Beam lights.

My space was limited, so I had to go with these. I do 90% of my driving off-road in sand and have finally excepted that led color temp (too blue) is not very ideal for these conditions. It is almost "swallowed up" by the sand like black felt/satin. I think I will keep these where they are (in bumper) and add two more tabs on my light bar above them to put halogen daylighters next to my gravity daylighter spots. In all my auxiliary lighting trials, I have started to wish someone would make a high wattage driving beam. Though highway legal, driving beams still bother oncoming traffic. I don't see why someone doesn't make make a dedicated high output light in a driving pattern, but not for highway use, in addition to the huge selection of street legal driving lights available.
I bought these to supplement my headlights on my 2010 Crown Victoria. Boy are they bright! Mounted at headlight level they give me a great extra distance of visibility. I would also add that because they're so brilliantly bright, be courteous of other drivers in front of you or oncoming traffic.
My 2012 Xterra has what I believe to be below average headlights. The high beams actually seem less effective than the low beams. With the G34 driving lights, I can now see much farther, more broadly and more clearly. They fit very well in the lower opening of the grill/bumper with the wiring easily routed to the battery and dash. I mounted the switch in one of the blank locations next to the steering column. I’m impressed with the performance and highly recommend them.
