Frequently Asked Questions

What are the minimum recommended fuse sizes for the Gravity Titan LED 2-Light System?

The Gravity Titan LED Pair Pack 2-Light System requires specific minimum fuse sizes to ensure safe and optimal performance.

  • 2-Light System: White/High 10 a, Amber Backlight 3 a

Are the Gravity Titan lights replacing the Gravity Pro6 lights?

No, the Gravity Titan lights are not replacing the Gravity Pro6 lights. Instead, they are a valuable addition to the Gravity family, providing enhanced performance and added features for both on-road and off-road enthusiasts.

What are the differences between the Gravity Titan and Pro6 lights?

The Single Titan lights feature a lower and more forward mounting position than the Single Pro6 lights, it boasts significant improvements with the new Titan Core having 3 high-power LEDs per core compared to the Pro6's 2 LEDs. The Titan offers a larger illumination zone, measured at the same lux values. Additionally, the Titan features a MoistureBlock® technology panel connector at the back of the light instead of a traditional pigtail, enhancing ease of installation and durability. The Titan wiring harness uses a 3-pin Deutsch connector with the Titan Amber Backlight feature instead of the Pro6 harness 2-pin Deutsch connector.

However, please note that the Titan uses more wattage and amps compared to the Pro6.

Do the Gravity Titan lights include an amber backlight?

Yes. The Titan still has the main power circuit for the white/high mode and also uses a second power circuit to offer the Amber Backlight. While it's not intended for driving purposes, it functions as a forward-facing dust light, enhancing visibility for oncoming traffic both day and night. Serving primarily as a safety feature, it ensures that others can easily spot your vehicle, particularly in dusty conditions.

Why don't the Gravity Titan lights have as many lumens as other brands on the market?

Although the Gravity Titan lights may have fewer lumens compared to some other brands, they excel in providing superior illumination. Thanks to our patented Gravity Reflective Diode (GRD) technology, the Titan lights achieve greater lux values, ensuring better real-world brightness. This precision-focused design results in more efficient output, making our lights more powerful and effective than competitors.

What exactly is MoistureBlock® technology?

MoistureBlock® is a patented technology created by DSM&T that prevents moisture from entering the light. We worked with them to incorporate this into the panel mount connector on the back of the light to stop water, oil and other fluids from migrating in either direction, extending life and performance of the Titan lights internal circuits.

How does the wiring harness connect to the Gravity Titan lights?

Rather than a traditional pigtail coming out of the back of the light, we opted for a direct plug-in panel mount connector on the back of the Titan. This creates a simple and neat wiring job.

Additional information and troubleshooting about the rear panel connector can be found here.

Do the Gravity Titan lights use the same mounts as the Pro6? Do you have mounts for my vehicle? Do you have mounts for my vehicle?

Yes, the Titan lights use the same mounts and brackets as the Pro6 lights.

Our Titan lights are meant to be universal lights in that they can be adapted to fit just about any application. If we do not have mounts for your specific vehicles, you may be able to find something that works online or possibly can have something custom fabricated by a local fabrication shop. Click the Mounts tab to view available mounts.

What are the beam patterns available for the Gravity Titan Lights?

The Titan Pair Packs and Single lights are available in Spot, Wide-40, and Driving Beams.

What beam pattern should I pick for my Gravity Titan Lights?

For those that desire the furthest possible distance out of their light output, the Spot Beam lenses will perform best. For those that want short to mid-range distance coverage while also having more horizontal coverage, the Wide-40 Beam lenses will be best. And finally, for those that mount their lights in the proper place and want to light up their on-road driving experience, the Driving Beam pattern is for you.

Are the Gravity Titan Driving Beam lights street legal?

Yes. The SAE J581 Driving Beam lights provide a true street legal driving beam pattern, similar to the Pro6 Driving Beam lights. As long as the light is mounted in line with or below the headlights (though regulations may vary by state), it can be used as a street legal light. However, it's important to note that these lights are typically designed to function as high beam lights, emitting bright light that may not be suitable for oncoming traffic.

Can I wire my Gravity Titan to a switch system?

With some modification to the included wire harness, you can wire the Titan to most of the available switching systems on the market. We do recommend any custom wiring be done by a professional.

Is flipping the Gravity Titan light upside down recommended?

Sure! You can mount and orient the Titan light in any position you need it to. You can also remove the four bolts around the face of the light, to orient and clock the optic to suit your mounting position best. Play around with different configurations of the a-symmetric bracket design that allows for even more diverse mounting options.

Do you have other covers for the Gravity Titan? How can I get a different color cover?

The Black with Yellow KC Logo covers are included with the pair pack. The Gravity Titan Smiley Face Covers can be purchased separately. That being said, our covers are easily customizable with our free sticker template which can be found here.

What is included with the Gravity Titan LED lights?

Gravity Titan LED Pair Pack in the beam pattern purchased, Gravity 6" Light Cover - Black with Yellow KC Logo, Complete Plug-N-Play Wiring Harness with 3-Position Switch, Cover Removal Tool, and all necessary hardware. Only vehicle specific bundle kits are sold with mounting brackets.

Do the Gravity Titan lights include blackout covers?

Yep! Included with the Titan lights are our opaque Black with Yellow KC covers.

Do the Gravity Titan lights use the same accessories as the Pro6?

Yes, they share the same covers, shields, and locks.

Can I use the light stud locks with the Gravity Titan lights?

Yes, single light stud locks are compatible with the Gravity Titan lights. Use SKU 7223 aka the M10-1.5 Light Lock Security Nut Set for these. But remember, don't lose the included key!

Do I need to use covers on my lights when driving on public roads?

All locales have different rules/regulations. Check with your local and state laws regarding the need for covers on auxiliary lights and whether you need them or not.

One for the Ages

The saga of Titan is one of enduring legacy and groundbreaking advancements. It started with the Gravity® Pro6 - a game-changer at a time when nothing else came close. Leveraging our rich experience, we took the nostalgia for classic round lights and the demand for LED light bars, and infused all of that together with cutting-edge GRD® optic technology. This move didn't just light up trails; it sparked a revolution in off-road lighting. Titan stands as a testament to our commitment to push boundaries and fuel off-road adventures.

Lower & Sleeker Mounting

Taking design cues from our Baja 1000 winning Carbon PODs, the redesigned housing on the Titan Single Light increases the heat-sinking surface area and adds more protection. A lower and more forward mounting system means you'll now have an easier-to-mount light that sits lower and sleeker on your rig.
