  • Great lights

"These lights are great and super bright. I added them to my Jeep JK. Easy to install, great quality, & easy to follow instructions. Only thing would had been nice to have additional zip ties to tie wires with. Lights were installed in less than a hour. Why settle for cheaper lights that are of less quality when for a few bucks more you get piece of mind knowing your lights are gonna work when you need them."

  • "As mentioned in a previous review I had Piaa lights installed on a previous 2012 F150. I installed these Daylighters...2 spot lights and 2 driving lights on the KC light bar. I mounted the two spot lights in the center (for reaching out in the distance) and two driving lights on the outside edge (for illuminating the side of the road). These are mounted on a 2014 FX4 with HID head lights. The two Daylighters driving lights throw out more light than my low beam HID lights...and the spot lights all I can say is wow do they really reach out in the distance. The construction of these lights easily surpasses those of the Piaa lights.

A flexible/corrugated sleeve comes out of the lights to cover the wires. Unfortunately they use a single rubber grommet to keep the metal sleeve away from your vehicle to prevent scratching...total useless for that purpose. Go out and buy 3/8 wiring harness to slip over the corrugated metal sleeve to prevent scratching. The wiring harness/switches are pretty much generic and identical to those used by Piaa. The only difference I think is that KC fuses the switch with a 3 amp fuse in addition to the 25 amp fuse used for the actual lights. I don't recall Piaa using a fuse for the switch as well.

Not a bad idea in the event the switch would get shorted or the wires running to the switch managed to short out. The Piaa switch attached with double stick tape to a location of your choosing. The KC switches can be moun...

  • "These lights are bright as hell, and really do what I wanted them to do. When I am going down a back road and its dark and I want to be able to see I flip the switch on these lights. The ONLY downside is if an oncoming car appears I have to turn them off, and then I wonder if my headlights are even on anymore. They are so dim in comparison the regular lights don't even come close. I bought a few pairs of those cheap lights from auto stores, and was seriously disappointed. Let me save you time and money now. If it says 55w on the box, it doesn't matter who makes them, they'll be crap. These 130w lights are everything you want. Do yourself a favor and keep the money you were going to spend on a 55w set and invest in these.

I have never been happier with a light purchase. I am now going to install a rack on the top of my truck and put a few more of these on the top for off road use. Maybe a couple rear facing as well. Well worth it."

  • "I love these lights. I used a different KC cover to get the look I wanted. The ones included are hard plastic and are probably better, but the yellow did not work for me."

  • "What a difference these made. I bought these to replace my 55w off-road lights and these did the trick. Everything you need to install these comes in the package. They even supplied a 40A relay.

I didn't use the wiring (only the ends that connect the lights to the harness) or the relay because I used my existing wiring and relay, but it looks like a quality setup. They also give you a good set of instructions and an illustration on how to properly aim your new lights. If you really want to be able to see in the dark, pick up some of these and you will agree. You can't go wrong with KC."

  • "Great light, glad I went with 2 Spread beams and Two spot lights instead of a LED light bar! Love the lighting and distance these bad boys get! Best light product I have ever bought!"

  • "The lights are very bright and shine very far. They only down side is that they don't shine very wide off the trail for off roading."

"What a big difference how the road is lighted up."

  • "This package is the real deal. Everything fits, the cables are long enough, the switch is of good quality and of course the lights are premium quality. It was worth spending a little extra on Brand quality. T

he lights have been attached to my Jeep Wrangler 1997 Special Front Bumper and the rubber mount makes it super easy and flexible which will likely make them last a long time.

Lights are bright and really awesome, especially compared to the regular lights. I have the switch connected as fog light switch, but after a couple days I figured I might switch them over to connect to the High Beam instead. Or figure out a way to do both. I wasn't sure about the size, should I go bigger? In the end they are just a bit smaller than the regular lights right next to them and I think they do look great. Good choice."

  • "Pretty much perfect. I bought a pair of these to mount on the front of my Chevy S-10 Blazer. I do a lot of driving at night on rural roads, so the stock high beams just didn't cut it. They pretty much do what they're suppose to, illuminate the road. The beam spread is perfect for a suitable "high beam replacement".

These are not the off road long range version (those are the KC Daylighter 631's) so don't expect a light beam of 500 feet. However, they are super bright. I would say at least 4 times brighter than regular high beams. I would definitely recommend these for my application."

  • "Lights up sides of road and increases distance illuminastion as well. Has helped me aviod hitting deer that are running all over our rural roads in Wisconsin. Relatively easy install on my GMC Yukon. For ease of use be sure to install so lights only work with high beam."

  • "Ordered these to go on the brush guard of my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. The included wiring was very high quality and was in sort of a black wrap to protect it from the elements. There was plenty of wire to put the lights on the front of my vehicle, you would need more if you were putting them on the roof. They look great and I'm very happy with the way they installed.

As for their performance, WOW! With these on, it's hard to tell that the stock lights on my car are even on at all! The beam is perfect and throws very far. KC has made a lifelong customer out of me.

Edit: After a few days of having these on, the tabs of one of the smiley face light covers broke. I contacted KC support and they sent a replacement immediately, free of charge. Absolutely great customer support."

  • "Had a minor issue with one of the fuses that came with it being blown. Once it was realized that it was the fuse and not the workmanship thing went smooth. Easy to install and works great"

  • "Condensation. Much to my surprise, they tend to need a touch of clear silicone at the entry of the wiring."

  • "These are OUTSTANDING!! My weekly commute is a 100 mile trip over the Wind River range in Wyoming, usually done in the middle of the night, and the stock lighting on my '14 GMC Sierra wasn't quite enough.

Bough a pair of driving beam and a pair of spot beam, both 130 watt, and let's just say there's a reason they're called DAYLIGHTERS!! Now I can see clearly for over a mile, and identify lineators poles for almost 3 miles. Just the ticket!!!"
