Holmes/Gallagher Win Their Third HDT Rally

Bill Holmes and Sean Gallagher picked up where they left off at the end of last season in their Ford Rally Raptor, continuing their 2 Wheel Drive winning ways at the High Desert Trails Rally.
Warm weather and clear blue skies greeted the crew as they tackled 8 Special Stages covering 75 miles of extremely fast flowing dirt roads that made up this year’s event.
A trouble free run led to the pair winning every special stage, beating the next car by 6 and half minutes.
The pair also won the 2WD award on the Dirt Fish Rally School Power Stage for being the fastest over the final 10 mile special stage.
The flawless run was aided by Bilstein Shock Absorbers, KC HiLites, BFGoodrich Tires and Flowmaster Mufflers.
Next up will be the Gorman Ridge Rally, an event in the United States Rally Championship.
High Desert Trails was the first championship event on the 2012 California Rally Series calendar and part of the NASA Rally Sport series.
